“Following a decision by the Ministry of National Defence, the Hellenic National Defence General Staff and the Hellenic Army General Staff, 2017 will be the Year of National Guards and Reservists.
Our National Guards and Reservists demonstrate the magnificence of soul of the Greek soldier through the contribution to the Armed Forces and the protection of our country’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
I would like to assure all our National Guards, as well as our Reservists that, through coordinated action, we will manage to provide them with the possibility of better training, better coordination and participation in the National Defence of our country”.
