Defence Minister Panos Kammenos’ visit to Cyprus was completed

The two-day official visit of the Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos to Cyprus was completed. The Minister of National Defence paid tribute and laid a wreath on the place where Theofilos Georgiades was killed. Then he laid a wreath in the Military Cemetery in the Tomb of Makedonitissa.

He visited the “Lt. Gen. Stavrianakos” camp of the Greek Force in Cyprus (ELDYK) where a memorial service was held to the memory of ELDYK’s fallen during the Turkish invasion. He met with children of Enclaved in Karpass peninsula and with the teachers Eleni Foka and Despo Mouzouri. He also visited the Imprisoned Graves.

The Minister of National Defence was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of State Terens Kouik and the Chief of HNDGS General Michail Kostarakos.
