The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos, during his official visit to Qatar, visited the Air Base of the Emirate where he met with the Chief of Qatar’s Air Force Major General Mubarak bin Mohamed al-Kumait al-Khayarin. Afterwards, he visited the Naval Base where he met with the Chief of Qatar’s Navy Rear Admiral Mohammed bin Nasser al-Mohannadi.
The Minister of National Defence was guided through the premises of the Air and Naval Base and was briefed by the Chiefs of Staffs about their mission and work. They also discussed issues of mutual interest.
At the Naval Base, the Minister of National Defence visited a missile boat of the Qatari Navy.
