The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos visited the centres of reception and temporary residence for refugees in Nea Kavala, Kilkis and in Cherso, Kilkis. Afterwards, he inspected the reception and temporary residence centre for refugees in Diavata.
He also visited Thasos Island where he met with the municipal authority. Among others, they discussed about the construction of a bust to the memory of Naval Air Service officer Sp. Champas who fell during World War I.
