The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos will attend the memorial service to be held in the Helicopter Base of the Hellenic Navy, in Marathon, on Friday, January 30, 2015, at 11:00, to the memory of the officers who lost their lives near Imia islets while on duty.
Afterwards, he will throw a wreath into the sea near Imia islets.
Then, he will visit Crete, where he will lay a wreath to the memory of raider Emmanouil Mpikakis and he will visit 133rd Combat Group.
The Minister of National Defence will be accompanied by the Chief of HNGS Vice Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis and the Member of Parliament of the Independent Hellenes Party representing the electoral district of Herakleion Kostas Damavolitis.
