The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos will honour at a special ceremony the professional soldier, Sgt (Inf) Panagiotis Papadopoulos, who found a significant amount of money outside a bank in Xanthi and returned them, without a second thought. His deed becomes even more outstanding since, during the difficult times of this financial crisis, he would not even accept the amount of money he is entitled to, according to the law.
The Minister of National Defence congratulates the Sergeant for his deed which honours, apart from himself, the entire Army.
