The Minister of National Defence Mr. Panos Panagiotopoulos was briefed today by Staff Officers of the Hellenic Army, Hellenic Navy and Hellenic Air Force General Staffs on matters pertaining to the Hellenic Armed Forces, at the presence of the three Service’s Chiefs.
During his briefing at the Hellenic Army General Staff Operations Centre (OPS CEN), Mr. Panagiotopoulos discussed via teleconference with the head of the military guard post at Agathonissi, and with the Commander of the Hellenic Force in Afghanistan at Kabul.
The Minister of National Defence, during these communications, expressed his respect and appreciation for the mission they have assumed, while asking of the Officers in chief to communicate his greetings to the Officers, NCOs and conscripts of their units, saying that he will visit them soon.
