The Minister of National Defence Mr. Panos Panagiotopoulos will make an official visit to Israel, from tomorrow night, after an invitation extended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the State of Israel Mr. Ehud Barak.
According to the program of the visit, the Greek Minister of Defence will hold on Wednesday afternoon discussions with the Prime Minister of Israel Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu at his office in Jerusalem.
The next morning he will have a business meeting with the Minister of Defence and Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Ehud Barak, on all matters of common interest for Greece and Israel of his pertinence.
He will also meet with His Most Godly Beatitude, the Patriarch of the Holy City of Jerusalem and all Palestine Theophilus III, and he will pay due honour to the Temple of the Holy Sepulchre.
Before departing from Israel, he will also visit the Museum of the Holocaust, where he will lay wreaths.
