The Minister of National Defence Mr. Panos Panagiotopoulos will pay a two-day official visit to Qatar (December 9 and 10 2012).

During his stay, he will meet with the Crown Prince of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and have discussions with him on all matters concerning defence and military cooperation between the two countries. The two men will also discuss the relations between Greece and Qatar, as well as matters related to the progress in the broader region of the Middle East.

Besides the Qatari Crown Prince, Mr. Panagiotopoulos will also meet with the Chief of the Armed Forces General Hamad bin Ali al Attiyah and he will visit military bases and other installations of the Qatari Armed Forces.
