The Minister of National Defence Mr. Panos Panagiotopoulos will participate tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, June 4 and 5, in the NATO Defence Ministers’ Meetings which will take place at Brussels.
The main issue that NATO Defence Ministers will be called to elaborate will be the “NATO Defence Planning Process”, while in the agenda of the two-day meetings, other matters of major interest have been registered, such as: “Cyber Defence and NATO in the post-2014 era”, “Smart Defence” and others.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Mr. Panos Panagiotopoulos will have bilateral contacts with many counterparts of him, from several countries. Among them, the Turkish Defence Minister Ismet Yilmaz, the American Defence Minister Chuck Hagel, the French Minister Le Drian, the Albanian Minister Arben Imami, the Bulgarian Minister Angel-Petrov Naydenov and others.
