The Minister of National Defence Mr. Panos Panagiotopoulos will attend the NATO Defence Ministers’ Meetings which will take place at Brussels on October 9 and 10 2012.
The main issues to be discussed will be:
- The progress of the “defence package” decided by Heads of States and Governments in May 2012 at Chicago.
- The maintenance of the security level during this period of financial crisis
- The progress of NATO-led operations in Afghanistan and Kosovo.
