The Minister of National Defence Mr. Panos Panagiotopoulos received today at a working meeting the Chairman of the General Confederation of Greek Workers (GSEE) Mr. Yannis Panagopoulos, the Chairman of the Panhellenic Metalworkers’ Federation (POEM) Mr. Yannis Stefanopoulos and the Member of the Board of GSEE Mr. Thanassis Danoussis.
The theme of the meeting was the situation existent at the Shipyards of Elefsis and Skaramangas, which have assumed, based on the respective contracts, to construct ships for the Hellenic Navy.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Dimitris Elefsiniotis, the Special Secretary of the Ministry of National Defence Mr. Antonis Oikonomou and the Special Coordinator for the Shipyards Mr. Nikos Anastasopoulos.
