The Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos had today, Thursday 15 July 2021, meetings in the margins of the International Defence and Security Exhibition “DEFEA 21”, with the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Armed Forces of the French Senate Mr. Christian Cambon, and the President of the National Defense and Armed Forces Committee of the French National Assembly Ms Francoise Dumas.
At the meeting, matters regarding bilateral defence cooperation and the security situation in East Mediterranean were discussed. Moreover, the importance of the strategic relation between Greece and France, which is based on strong, historical ties, was highlighted.
