The Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikos Dendias will participate in the Informal Meeting of EU Defence Ministers today, Tuesday 29 August and tomorrow Wednesday 30 August 2023, in Toledo, Spain.
The Russian invasion in Ukraine, as well as its regional and global implications, and the current security issues in the EU, the Western Balkans and Africa will be mainly discussed.
The Ukrainian Defence Minister Mr. Oleksii Reznikov will also participate in the meeting, via teleconference.
