The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias went, on Wednesday 12 January 2022, to the C’ Army Corps AOR, in the District of Central Macedonia, where he visited the HQs of Formations, Military Schools and Services of the Army and the Air Force.
In particular, Mr. Hardalias visited the HQs of the C’ Army Corps/NATO Rapid Deployable Corps-Greece, the 113 Combat Wing, the Supreme Joint War College, the Hellenic Army War College, and the 424 General Military Training Hospital.
In the course of his visits, the Deputy Minister of National Defence was briefed by the Commands/ Directorates on their organisation, mission and current activities, he visited their installations and had the opportunity to discuss with military and civilian personnel.
Mr. Hardalias also visited the MEGA vaccination centre within the venue of the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre, the operation of which is assisted by the Armed Forces, with the allocation of specialised personnel, in the context of managing and tackling the COVID-19 pandemic.
He was briefed on the course of the vaccination procedure and congratulated the medical personnel on their zeal, professionalism and extreme effort, demonstrated every day in the context of operation “FREEDOM”.
The Deputy Minister of National Defence was accompanied by the Commander of C’ Army Corps/NRDC-GR, Lieutenant General Anastasios Spanos.
