The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias, in the context of his visits to Formations, Services and Units of the Armed Forces, visited today, Friday 12 May 2023, in Thessaloniki, the AOR of the C Army Corps, the following HQs:
– The 308 Forward Base Plant, where he was received by the Commander of the Support Division, Major General Antonios Theodosiadis.
The Deputy Minister of National Defence was briefed by the Commander of the 308 Forward Base Plant, Colonel Konstantinos Tsirakis, on the flow of the redevelopment project, as well as on the modernisation of tracked and other heavy vehicles, as well as on the current activities of the plant. In addition, he visited workshops and areas, and had the opportunity to discuss with military and civilian personnel and of the plant.
The Deputy Minister of National Defence was accompanied throughout his visit by the Deputy Commander of C Army Corps, Major General Dimitrios Kessopoulos.
– The Hellenic Military Academy of Combat Support Officers, where he was received by the Commander of the Academy, Major general Theodoros Athanassopoulos. In the context of his visit, Mr. Hardalias was briefed on the military training and academic education programme, as well as on the Academy’s current activities.
