The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias attended today, Friday 8 July 2022, the oath-taking ceremony of the new Air Force sergeants of the 3rd Series of the HAF NCO Academy, held at the Air Force Training Command in Dekeleia Air Base.
The Deputy Minister of National Defence awarded the new Air Force sergeants their graduation certificates, in the presence of the Chief/HAFGS Lieutenant General Themistoklis Bourolias.
The ceremony was also attended by representatives of the Chiefs of HNDGS, HAGS, HNGS and the Security Corps, of the Church, diplomatic authorities, the Commander of the Air Force Training Command Major General Georgios Vagenas, the Commander of the Hellenic Air Force NCO Academy Brigadier General Emmanouil Zamboulakis, delegations of Armed Forces’ personnel, and relatives and friends of the new EF sergeants.
In total 181 sergeants took the oath, of which 168 from Greece, 12 from the Republic of Cyprus and 1 from Zimbabwe.
