The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Ioannis Kefalogiannis attended today, Friday 26 January 2024, the handover ceremony of the Commander of the Hellenic Air Force Support Command, between Lieutenant General Dimosthenis Grigoriadis and Major General Apostolos Hortis.
The Chief/HNGS Vice Admiral Dimitrios – Eleftherios Kataras HN attended the ceremony, representing the Chief/HNDGS.
The ceremony was also attended by Honorary Chiefs, Commanding and Supreme Officers of the Armed Forces and the Security Forces, as well as from delegations of the three branches of the Armed Forces, and the
Unions of Retired and Reserve Officers.
At the delivery of a commemorative award to the outgoign Commander of the Hellenic Air Force Support Command, and current Chief/HAFGS, Mr Kefalogiannis congratulated him on his work and contribution, and he wished the new HAFSC Commander a prosperous and productive tenure.
