The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias, representing the Ministry of National Defence, attended today, Monday 14 February, the handover- takeover ceremony of the Chief of Fire Service, from the outgoing Chief, General FS (ret.) Stefanos Kolokouris, to the incoming Chief, Lieutenant General FS Alexios Rapanos, at the premises of the Firefighting Academy in Kifissia.
The ceremony was attended by the entire leadership of the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, MPs of the Hellenic Parliament, local authorities of the Church and the Local Government, the Chiefs of the Security Corps and delegations representing the Chiefs of the Armed Forces’ General Staffs.
