In his address Mr. Deputy Minister mentioned:
“It is a great honour and pleasure for me to be here for the anniversary celebrations of the 201 years since the liberation of Nafplio, representing the Prime Minister, so that we can honour our dead, who gave their lives so that our homeland can be free. The messages from the sacrifice of our glorious ancestors are everlasting in time. Today, the women and men of the Armed Forces struggle daily so that they can defend the territorial integrity of our country, the rights of Greece, and counter any aspiring threat. We have achieved for our country to have a stronger voice at international fora, while at the same time sending the necessary messages to anyone who wants to act against our homeland so that they rethink it multiple times before acting.
Many happy returns.”
