On Thursday, 25 January 2024, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Ioannis Kefalogiannis, attended the Change of Command of the Higher Army Support Military Command Commander, with Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis handing over command to Lieutenant General Dimitrios Bolomitis.
The Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Dimitrios Houpis, the Chief of Hellenic Navy General Staff, Vice Admiral Dimitrios-Eleftherios Kataras HN, and the Chief of Hellenic Air Force General Staff, Lieutenant General Dimosthenis Gregoriadis attended the ceremony on the side of the military leadership.
Additionally, the ceremony was attended by Honorary Chiefs, General and Senior Officers of the Armed and Police Forces, as well as delegations of the three Branches of the Armed Forces, and the Unions of Retired and Reserve Officers.
During the delivery of a commemorative award to the outgoing Commander of the Higher Army Support Military Command and new Chief/HAGS, Mr. Kefalogiannis congratulated him on his work and contribution and wished the new Higher Army Support Military Command Commander a prosperous and productive tenure.
