The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Chardalias and the Chairman and CEO of PPC S.A. Mr. Georgios Stassis signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, on 3 August 2022, between the Ministry of National Defence and PPC Group, in a ceremony held at “IOANNIS CAPODISTRIAS” Hall, in the Ministry of National Defence.
The ceremony was also attended by the Deputy Chief of Hellenic Navy General Staff Vice Admiral Georgios Kambourakis and the Directors of C’ Staff Directorates from the Hellenic National Defence General Staff Major General Christos Tellidis, from the Hellenic Army General Staff Major General Andreas Koronakis and the Hellenic Air Force General Staff Major General Dimitrios Boznos, whereas PPC S.A. was represented by the Director of the Innovation Centre Mr. Marios Boboulos.
According to the Memorandum signed, the two parties will proceed to a mutually beneficial cooperation with a view to a common contribution of both to the promotion and advancement of fields of mutual interests within the broader context of their missions, focusing on scientific research and innovative development, as well as on the quality insurance field of their premises, materiel and equipment related to the operational needs of these two bodies.
In the context of this cooperation, the two Parties, utilizing the existent know-how and capabilities in a mutual and bidirectional manner, will proceed both on a series of action and initiatives in order to achieve the objectives of the Memorandum signed.
