Deputy Defence Minister Nikolaos Chardalias attends the joint memorial service held for the Fallen  Officers and Soldiers of the Medical Corps

The Deputy Minister of National Defence, Mr. Nikolaos Chardalias, attended the annual ceremony, commemorating and honoring the Fallen Officers and Soldiers of the Medical Corps of the three Services of the Armed Forces. The ceremony was held the courtyard of 401 Athens General Army Hospital.

A memorial service, along with a roll call ceremony, took place in the context of the event. The Deputy Minister of National Defence laid a wreath at the Memorial to the “Medical Corps Fallen Personnel”.

The ceremony was also attended by Chief/HAGS, Lieutenant General Charalampos Lalousis representing Chief/HNDGS, General Konstantinos Floros, Chief of Staff/HNDGS, Lieutenant General Konstantinos Kelaris, 401 Athens General Army Hospital, Major General Dimitrios Kasimos, HNDGS Medical Directorate, Major General Dimitrios Chatzigeorgiou, HAGS Medical Directorate, Major General Antonios Zoumpoulidis, HNGS Medical Directorate, Rear Admiral HN Antonios Papageorgiou, HAFGS Medical Directorate, Major General Panagiotis Kostopoulos, the President of the Hellenic Red Cross, Major General (ret.), Antonios Avgerinos, as well as senior retired officers former Commanders and Directors of 401 Athens General Army Hospital Nursing Service.
