The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Chardalias attended the oath-taking ceremony of the new Hellenic Air Force Academy Cadets, held on Thursday, 07 October 2021, at Dekeleia Air Base, Tatoi.
The ceremony was also attended by the Metropolitan Bishop of Ilion, Acharnes and Petroupoli Athinagoras, the Chief of HAFGS Lieutenant General Georgios Blioumis, H.E. the Ambassadress of Montenegro to Greece Ms. Ana Vukadinovic, the Consuls of the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus to Athens Mr. Ioannis Adamou and of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Athens Mr. Ashraf Khasawneh, delegations of personnel from the Armed Forces and the Security Corps, as well as relatives of the cadets.
In total, 135 cadets were sworn in, of whom 121 are from Greece, 9 from Cyprus, 2 from Montenegro, 2 from Jordan and 1 from Tunisia.
