From Saturday, 17 December to Tuesday, 20 December 2022, the Deputy Minister of National Defence, Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias, will be visiting Formations, Groups, Units, and Outposts in the area of responsibility of the Higher Military Command of Interior & Islands, on 24 islands and islets of the Aegean.
More specifically, the visit schedule of the Deputy Minister of National Defence reads as follows:
– 95 Higher National Guard Battalions Command HQ and HELO readiness echelon at Maritsa Airport in Rhodes.
– “Aghios Fanourios” Symi Surveillance Outpost.
– Karpathos HAF Detachment.
– Ro Surveillance Outpost, and he will be laying a wreath on the monument of the “Lady of Ro” in Ro.
– Strongyli Surveillance Outpost.
– Megisti Island Defence Force Camp, and HS Krystallidis.
– Tilos island Defence Force Camp.
– “Aghios Fokas” Kos Surveillance Outpost.
– Pserimos island Surveillance Outpost.
– “Aghios Nikolaos” Kalolimnos Surveillance Outpost.
– “Chali” Kalymnos Surveillance Outpost.
– Leros 588 National Guard Battalion.
– Farmakonisi Surveillance Outpost.
– Agathonisi Surveillance Outpost.
– Patmos National Guard Battalion.
– Ikaria island Defence Force Camp.
– “Psili Ammos” Samos Surveillance Outpost.
– Oinousses Surveillance Outpost.
– Psara Surveillance Outpost.
– Mythimna Surveillance Outpost in Lesvos, as well as HS MYKONIOS.
– 41 Infantry Regiment Tactical Command in Samothrace.
– “Plaka” Surveillance Outpost and Aircraft and HELO Readiness Echelons
in Lemnos.
During his visits, the Deputy Minister of National Defence will be meeting Regional and Local Self-administration representatives, as well as religious authorities’ members.
