The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias, in the context of his information visits to Formations and Units of the Armed Forces, visited today, Tuesday 22 March 2022, the 180 “HAWK”
Guided Missile Battalion in Attica, accompanied by the Chief/HNDGS General Konstantinos Floros, and the Director of HAGS/A’ Branch Major General Spyridon Alfantakis.
The Deputy Minister of National Defence was briefed by the Battalion’s Commander, Lieutenant Colonel (ARTI) Nikolaos Biris on its organisation, mission, task and current operational and training activities.
In addition, he was toured at its installations at Kapandriti (HQs of the Command, the Staff and the Battalion’s Command Battery), and at Varnavas (HQ of the B’ Battery), and discussed with personnel and conscripts.
