The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias visited Thessaloniki today, Saturday 28 January 2023, where, in the context of meetings held with personnel and conscripts of the Armed Forces, he visited the Β’ Battery HQ of the 181 “HAWK” Guided Missile Battalion, accompanied by the newly appointed Commanders of the 1st Army/EU-OHQ Lieutenant General Ioannis Tsioplos, and of the C’ Army Corps/NRDC-GR Lieutenant General Paris Kapravelos.

The Deputy Minister of National Defence was briefed by the Commander of the 181 “HAWK” Guided Missile Battalion Lieutenant Colonel Sokratis Alexopoulos on the Battalion’s mission and ongoing activities, he visited its installations, and discussed with its personnel and conscripts.

Yesterday, at the Thessaloniki Officers’ Club, Mr. Hardalias had a meeting with the Commanders of the 1st Army/EU-OHQ Lieutenant General Ioannis Tsioplos, and of the C’ Army Corps/NRDC-GR Lieutenant General Paris Kapravelos, and with Commanders of Formations, Military Academies, Groups and Services headquartered in the broader West and Central Macedonian region.

In addition, he met with the Deputy Minister of Interior for Macedonia-Thrace Mr. Stavros Kalafatis, the MP of Thessaloniki A’ Mr. Konstantinos Gkioulekas, and the Mayor of Thessaloniki Mr. Konstantinos Zervas.
