The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias, in the context of the visits he performs to Formations, Units and Services of the Armed Forces, visited today, Monday 14 March 2022, the headquarters of the Hellenic Military Academy and the Hellenic Army Research and Technology Centre at Vari-Attica.
During his visit at the Hellenic Military Academy, Mr. Hardalias was briefed by the Director of Military Training, Brigadier General Michail Ploumis, on the School’s history, mission, training programme and current activities. He also toured its premises and briefly addressed the Cadets.
At the Hellenic Army Research and Technology Centre, the Deputy Minister of National Defence was received by the Deputy Chief/HNDGS Vice Admiral Ioannis Drymoussis HN. In the context of his visit, he was briefed by its Commander, Brigadier General Emmanouil Fragoulopoulos, on the Centre’s organisation, mission and its vital and multifaceted work on matters of Research and Technological development of the Armed Forces. In addition, he inspected the premises and laboratories, and discussed with military and civilian personnel.
The Deputy Minister of National Defence was accompanied by the Army Inspector General – Doctrine and Training Commander, Lieutenant General Nikolaos Flaris.
