Deputy Minister Ioannis Kefalogiannis, representing the President of the Hellenic Government, attends the events for the official celebration of the 157th Anniversary of the Arcadi Monastery Holocaust, in Rethymno.
The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Ioannis Kefalogiannis, representing the President of the Hellenic Government, attended todaythe events for the official celebration of the 157th Anniversary of the Arcadi Monastery Holocaust, held at the Arcadi Monastery, in Rethymno, and the doxology officiated by the Reverend Metropolitan of Rethymno and Avlopotamos Mr. Prodromos.
Following the celebration, the Deputy Minister of National Defence stated the following:

“We honoured once again this year, with gratitude, the Voluntary Sacrifice of the Arcadi Monastery. The messages are relevant also nowadays, that the Greek men and women are ready to give their life in order to keep the country’s integrity, and to fight for the freedom, peace and rights of Greece. I wish happy anniversary to all women and men of the Armed Forces and to those who celebrate their name day.”
