On Sunday 24 May 2020, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Alkiviadis Stefanis, representing the Prime Minister, attended the celebrations on the Remembrance Day of the Pontian Genocide, in Rhodes .
The Deputy Minister attended the Holy doxology at the Holy Temple of the Annunciation in Rhodes. Then he laid a wreath at the Monument of the Altar of Homeland. Finally, he met with the Mayor of Rhodes Mr. Antonios Kambourakis.
