On Thursday, 16 January 2020, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Alkiviadis Stefanis inaugurated the refurbished Dental Clinic and Amphitheater halls of 417 Army Equity Fund Hospital.
The Dental Clinic was fully refurbished in the interior and equipped with two state of the art dental seats of new technology, with the ability to perform digital intraoral x-ray.
Respecting the hall, the wooden frames of the Amphitheater were preserved and maintained, while the wall fabric panels were replaced, which depicted the Institution’s history through pictures, even before 1942, when it first became operational. The visual-acoustic system was also fully replaced using a new state of the art technology, for a better functional and acoustic output.
The inauguration cost was borne by the Institution’s own resources.
