On Thursday, 3 September 2020, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Alkiviadis Stefanis, met with the Director of Defence Policy of the Ministry of Defence of Austria Dr. Arnold Kammel.
The Ambassador of Austria to Greece Mag. Hermine Poppeller and the Director of the General Directorate of National Defence Policy and International Relations Dr. Konstantinos Balomenos were also present during the meeting.
In the context of the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest pertaining to the situation in SE Mediterranean, the security of European borders and the role of the Armed Forces in handling the health crisis.
