Today, Wednesday 14 April 2021, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Alkiviadis Stefanis attended the opening of an exhibition on American Philhellenism at the newly established Museum of Philhellenism, hosted by the US Ambassador to Athens Geoffrey Pyatt.
The opening was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs responsible for Greeks living abroad, Mr. Konstantinos Vlassis, the Regional Governor of Attica Mr. Georgios Patoulis and the Vice-Mayor and Alternate Mayor of Athens Mr. Eleftherios Skiadas.
The Deputy Minister congratulated the chairman of the society for Hellenism and Philhellenism Mr. Konstantinos Velentzas on the exceptional organization of the exhibition, which contributes to the projection of Greece at international level.
The Museum of Philhellenism was established by the Society of Hellenism and Philhellenism, and it aims to explore, promote and project Philhellenism through tome at international level.
