Today, Friday 11 June 2021, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Alkiviadis Stefanis attended a meeting held at HNDGS, at the Admiral Pavlos Kountouriotis Hall, on the Establishment of Joint Structures for Elderly Care.
The Deputy Minister highlighted the need to implement the said social action in the context of the constant care provided by the Ministry of National Defence for service members and retired members, as well as for Armed Forces civilians serving and the retired ones. He highlighted the will of the Political leadership of the MoD for the establishment of Structures to provide specialised care to the elderly, operating as care residencies – providing geriatric care and psychosocial support.
The meeting was also attended by the competent authorities from the MoD, HNDGS, HAGS, HNGS and HAFGS.
