On Tuesday 8 June 2021, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Alkiviadis Stefanis provided a briefing to the members of the Special Permanent Committee on Armament Programs of the Hellenic Parliament, pertaining to the two following issues which received a positive opinion:

Activation of the program for the “Procurement of A-T-KORNET –E Guided Missiles” for the benefit of the Hellenic Army .

Activation of the Program for the “Integration of IFF MODE 5 into Air Command and Control RADAR Systems” for the benefit of the Hellenic Air Force.
The session of the Special Permanent Committee, held at the Parliament’s Congress Hall, was attended by HNDGS Deputy Chief Vice-Admiral Ioannis Drymousis representing HNDGS Chief, HAFGS Chief Lieutenant General (AF) Georgios Blioumis, HAGS Chief Lieutenant General Charalambos Lalousis, and the Director General of the General Directorate of Defence Investments and Armaments Vice-Admiral (ret.) Aristeidis Alexopoulos.
