Today, Friday 9 April 2021, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Alkiviadis Stefanis visited “MAJOR (INF) IOANNIS VELISSARIOS” Camp, at Chalkida, where the Infantry Directorate and the Infantry School are based.

First, the Minister was received by the Director of Infantry Dte Major General Sotirios Kostakoglou, who briefed him on the activities underway.

Then he visited the Infantry School where he was briefed on its ongoing activities by its Commander Major General Dimitrios Kostarelos and addressed a salute to the trainee Captains of the Advance Training Course.
