The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr Ioannis Kefalogiannis, accompanied by the Chief/HAFGS Lieutenant General (HAF) Themistoklis Bourolias, visited the Air Force NCO Academy on Thursday 23 November 2023, where he was received by the Commander of HATC Major General (HAF) Vasilios Papahristou and the Hellenic NCO Academy Commandant, Brigadier General (HAF) Antonios Tsalabounis.
During his visit, Mr. Kefalogiannis was briefed on the mission, the organisation, the training programmes, as well as the ongoing activities of the Academy. Following, he toured the facilities, teaching rooms and laboratories of the Academy, and discussed with cadets.
The Deputy Minister of National Defence congratulated the Commanding Officers and the Academic Staff on their excellent work. The potential for further qualitative improvement of the studies was also discussed.
