On Friday, 08 December 2023, the Deputy Minister of National Defence, Mr. Ioannis Kefalogiannis, visited the 404^th Army General Hospital of Larissa, the Hellenic Tactical Air Force Headquarters, the National Air Operations Centre, the 390^th UAV Squadron, and the 337^th Squadron.

During his visit to the 404^th Army General Hospital of Larissa, the Deputy Minister, accompanied by the Deputy Commanding General of the Hellenic Army Support Command, Major General Dimitrios Bolomytis, was briefed by the Commander of the 404^th Army General Hospital of Larissa, Colonel (MD) Christos Antoniou, on the hospital’s structure, staffing, and operation, while they also discussed its capabilities and prospects.

Mr. Kefalogiannis, accompanied by the Chief of Hellenic Tactical Air Force, Lieutenant General (HAF) Georgios Fasoulas, within the framework of his visits to the National Air Operations Centre, the 390^th UAV Squadron, and the 337^th Squadron, was briefed by the respective Commands on their organisation, mission, and operational work, as well as the challenges they are faced with, in particular the Director of the B Staff Directorate of the Hellenic Tactical Air Force Headquarters, Brigadier General (HAF) Ioannis Hatzigeorgiou, the Commander of the National Air Operations Centre, Brigadier General (HAF) Nikolaos Nikolaou, the Commander of the 110^th Combat Wing, Colonel (HAF) Dimosthenis Ntolas, the Commander of the 390^th UAV Squadron, Lieutenant Colonel (HAF) Ilias Sakkas, and the Commander of the 337^th Squadron, Lieutenant Colonel (HAF) Ioannis Tzikopoulos.

Finally, the Deputy Minister of National Defence had the opportunity to have an essential, extensive, and constructive dialogue with the flight and technical personnel of the 337^th Squadron, while he also visited the Squadron’s aircraft maintenance hangar and the readiness crew.

These visits were also attended by MPs for Larissa Christos Kellas and Christos Kapetanos.
