On Saturday, 05 November 2022, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Chardalias attended the Hellenic Air Force Air Show within the framework of the celebrations for its Patron Saint, Archangel Michael, in Flisvos, Paleo Faliro.
The event involved flights of all Hellenic Air Force aircraft types, the F-16 “Zeus” and T-6A “Dedalos” Demo Teams, the historic Spitfire aircraft, as well as civilian aircraft of the companies “Sky Express” and “Aegean Airlines”.
The show included, among others, a simulated dogfight between F-16 and Rafale F3R aircraft, a simulated surface naval strike by F-4 and F-16 aircraft, as well as a sea rescue demonstration by a Super Puma helicopter.
The event was attended by the Minister of Citizen Protection, Mr. Panagiotis (Takis) Theodorikakos, the MPs for Athens Mr. Vasilios Petros Spanakis, Mr. Dionysios Hatzidakis, Ms. Anna Karamanli, Ms. Antonia (Tonia) Antoniou, Mr. Theoharis (Haris) Theoharis, Mr. Konstantinos Kyranakis, and Mr. Dimitrios Vagenas, the Head of the Region of Attica, Mr. Georgios Patoulis, and the Mayor of Paleo Faliro, Mr. Ioannis Fostiropoulos, as well as the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Charalampos Lalousis, the Chief of Hellenic Navy General Staff, Vice Admiral Stylianos Petrakis HN, the Chief of Hellenic Air Force General Staff, Lieutenant General (HAF) Themistoklis Bourolias, honorary Chiefs of Hellenic Air Force General Staff, and active duty and retired general and senior officers of the Armed and Security Forces.
