On Monday, 3 April 2023, the Deputy Minister of National Defence, Mr. Nikolaos Chardalias, concluded his visits to Armed Forces Formations and Units in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace with visits to the headquarters of the 193rd MLRS Multiple Rocket Launcher Battalion and the 323rd MLRS Repair Company in Eleftheroupoli, Kavala.
The Deputy Minister of National Defence was briefed by the Commands of the 193rd MLRS Multiple Rocket Launcher Battalion and the 323rd MLRS Repair Company on the Units’ mission, organisation, and current activities, toured their facilities, and discussed with their cadres and enlisted soldiers.
Furthermore, Mr. Chardalias met with cadres and National Guardsmen of the National Guard Battalion of Kavala.
The Deputy Minister of National Defence was accompanied by the Commanding General of the Hellenic First Army/EU-OHQ, Lieutenant General Ioannis Tsioplos, as well as the Hellenic First Army Artillery Commander, Brigadier General Nikolaos Tyropanis, and the Commander of the 10th Infantry Regiment, Colonel Adam Sarris.
