On Thursday, 24 March 2022, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Chardalias, within the framework of his daily contacts with Commands/Directorates and personnel of Armed Forces Units and Services, visited the Armed Forces Real Estate Utilisation Authority and the Officers’ Autonomous Building Organisation.

The Deputy Minister of National Defence, who was accompanied by the Deputy Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kellis, was welcomed by the General Directors of the Organisations, Mr. Mihail Demestihas and Brigadier General Vasilios Bakopoulos, respectively.

During his visit, Mr. Chardalias was briefed on the organisation, mission, operation, work, and current actions of the organisations and was given a tour of their premises, where he discussed with officers and civilian personnel.

The Deputy Minister of National Defence congratulated the Directorates and their personnel for the efforts and the results of these two organisations which, through modern methods and tools, contribute to the meeting of housing needs, as well as to the utilisation of real property not used for military purposes, to the benefit of the Armed Forces and their personnel.
