The Deputy Minister of National Defence, Mr. Nikolaos Chardalias, visited the Military Nursing Academy premises at Vyronas, Attica, accompanied by the Chief of the HNDGS, General Konstantinos Floros.

The Deputy Minister of National Defence was briefed by the Military Nursing Academy Commander Colonel (Medical Corps) Marina Panagiotopoulou on the organization, the training program, as well as the current activities of the Academy. He subsequently toured its premises, where he talked with officers and students.

During his brief address to the students, Mr. Chardalias commended the Academy Commanding Officers and personnel on their professionalism, dedication to their vocation, as well as their passion in preserving the Academy’s exemplary operation. He further highlighted – inter alia – that the provision of a thorough military and academic training constitutes both a priority and an investment so that our Armed Forces’ future Nursing Officers consistently and faithfully perform – as they have thus far done so – their exceptional two-fold role as Military Officers and Nurses.
