On Friday, 25 November 2022, the Deputy Minister of National Defence, Mr. Nikolaos Chardalias, within the framework of his contacts with military and civilian personnel and enlisted soldiers, visited the headquarters of the 116^th and 117^th Combat Wings in the Araxos and Andravida Air Bases, respectively, accompanied by the Chief of Hellenic Air Force General Staff, Lieutenant General (HAF) Themistoklis Bourolias.

The Deputy Minister of National Defence was briefed by the Commanders of the 116^th Combat Wing, Colonel (HAF) Petros Sassaris, and the 117^th Combat Wing, Colonel (HAF) Avraam Kazantzoglou, on their current activities and operational work.

Furthermore, within the framework of the visits, Mr. Chardalias was given a tour of their facilities and discussed with military and civilian personnel and enlisted soldiers, as well as the crews and engineers of the readiness aircraft of the 335^th, 336^th, and 338^th Squadrons.
