The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Panaghiotis Karampelas, accompanied by the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General K. Ziazias and pertinent Staff Officers, visited on Thursday July 12 the HQ of the 2nd Army Aviation Group at Pachi-Megara, in order to be briefed on operational matters and particularly on the newly received NH90 Helicopters.
Mr. Karampelas, addressing the personnel, pointed out theirs and the Army Aviation means’ contribution for the country’s defence, and he especially highlighted the vigilance and concern for the attainment of the highest possible level of maintenance, so that operational availability will remain at the desired levels.
Moreover, he observed parachutists’ droppings at the Drop Zone of Pachi and he was briefed by the Parachutists School Command, on matters relative to their operational training.
