In the context of activities that aim to contribute to society, the Ministry of National Defence, wishing to actively support the educational community, conducted distribution of educational resources to eight kindergartens in Thrace, at the Municipalities of Xanthi, Rodopi and Evros.

The action was realised in the framework of the Ministry of National Defence and the Armed Forces’ contribution to society, to children and families living in border areas of the country’s territory.

The Director of the Financial Planning and Support General Directorate/Military and Technological Support Directorate of the Ministry of National Defence, Commodore Marios Arvanitakis HN, handed over the technological equipment on Thursday October 29 and on Friday October 30, 2026, as head of echelon in cooperation with the competent Education Directorates, accompanied by staff officers of the Supreme Military Command of Thrace, to the Kindergartens of Melivia, Gorgona, Magiko, Dafnonas, Sidirochori and Didymoticho, as well as the 13^th Kindergarten of Xanthi and the 2^nd Kindergarten of Komotini.

Thanks to the delivered equipment, 190 children will be able to utilise modern technological assets in their education.
