The Hellenic Ministry of National Defence announces the acceptance of a donation amounting to 6 million euros, by the Public Power Corporation (DEI), which will be allocated to the renovation and upgrade of the New Recruits Training Centres.
The goal is to upgrade the New Recruits Training Centres and to improve the living conditions and quality of life, during the basic training of the youngsters serving in the Armed Forces.
The donation is equally distributed to the years 2026 and 2027, with 3 million euros per year.
The upgrade of the Training Centres infrastructure falls within the wider transformation of the Armed Forces, in the framework of “Agenda 2030”, which, apart from the introduction of new assets and technologies, also aims to the upgrade of infrastructures and investment in the human workforce.
The Ministry of National Defence expresses its appreciation to the Public Power Corporation for its significant contribution in this effort.
