On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Athens Polytechnic Uprising, the Ministry of National Defence holds an event on Friday, 16 November 2018 at 13:00 at the amphitheatre of the Hellenic Military Academy (Evelpidon) in Vari.
The event will be attended by the cadets and students of the Higher Military Education Institutions and Higher NCO Military Schools in the Prefecture of Attica (Hellenic Military Academy, Hellenic Naval Academy, Hellenic Air Force Academy, Nursing Officer Academy, Hellenic Navy and Hellenic Air Force NCO Schools), representatives of their faculties, as well as family members of military personnel persecuted and tortured during the 1967-1974 dictatorship.

Tasos Sakellaropoulos, director of the Historical Archives of the Benaki Museum and member of the Expert Committee of the Hellenic Parliament on the Cyprus files.
