On Wednesday, 7 November 2018, the Alternate Minister of National Defence Panagiotis Rigas attended the football match between the Armed and Security Forces National Team and the All-Star Team from Eastern Attica, which took place at the Rafina Municipal Stadium, for the financial aid of the people afflicted by fires in Attica. The match was organised by the Ministry of National Defence, the Region of Attica, the Municipality of Rafina and the East Attica Football Clubs Association. The Alternate Minister addressed and congratulated those involved in the organisation of the match and pointed out the Armed Forces’ contribution with regard to the handling of the situation and providing relief to the people afflicted by the fires.
