The Minister of National Defence, Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos, had a private meeting today, Wednesday 14 July 2021, with the Minister of Defence of Georgia Mr. Juansher Burchuladze on the sidelines of the second day of the International Exhibition “DEFEA 2021” that is held at “Metropolitan Expo” Exhibition Centre in Spata. The two Ministers signed a military cooperation programme for 2021.

Then, Mr. Panagiotopoulos had a meeting with the European Defence Agency (EDA) Chief Executive, Mr. Jiři Šedivý with whom they exchanged views on matters relating to the European Union’s initiatives on Defence following the relevant successful Ministerial Round Table held by the Ministry of National Defence within the framework of the exhibition.
