In its first meeting for 2025, the Governmental National Security Council decided on the following:

1. The appointment of Lieutenant Generals, Vice Admirals, and a Major General (HAF) as an acting Lieutenant General, as follows:

a. HELLENIC ARMY

(1) Lieutenant General Andreas Koronakis, as Army Inspector General and Deputy Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff.

(2) Lieutenant General Stavros Papastathopoulos, as Commanding General of the Hellenic First Army.

(3) Lieutenant General Dimitrios Vakentis, as Commanding General of the Hellenic Army Support Command.

(4) Lieutenant General Georgios Manouras, as Commanding General of the Special Warfare Command.

(5) Lieutenant General Panagiotis Kavidopoulos, as Commanding General of D Army Corps.

(6) Lieutenant General Grigiorios Boudliakis, as Chief of Staff of the Hellenic Army General Staff.

b. HELLENIC NAVY

(1) Vice Admiral Christos Sasiakos HN, as Commander in Chief of the Hellenic Fleet.

(2) Vice Admiral Theodoros Mikropoulos HN, as Deputy Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff.

c. HELLENIC AIR FORCE
